Rental Policies
You must be 25 years old to rent the condo.
The condo is available at 4:00 PM on the date of your arrival (check in) and our check out time is 11:00 AM on your date of departure.
Deposit Policy: A payment of ½ of rental fee is required to confirm your reservation of the condo and is due within 7 days of reserving your requested dates. It may be paid by credit card, personal check or cashiers check. In addition to the rental fee, there is a security deposit of $100.00. The security deposit will be refunded by mail or credited to your account within 30 days of your departure date.
Balance Due: The balance due shown on your reservation confirmation is to be paid 30 days prior to your arrival date. If payment is not received by due date, reservation may be canceled. It may be paid by credit card, or personal check ($30.00 fee for returned checks may apply).
Cancellation/Refund Policy: A refund of your pre-paid rent and security deposit will be made less a $50.00 cancellation fee provided that cancellation occurs 30 days or more in advance of your arrival date. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of your arrival date a portion of your pre-paid rent will be refunded (50%), and your $100.00 security deposit will be forfeited. Unfortunately, severe weather is a possibility. In the event of a mandatory evacuation of the area, all guests are expected to depart as directed. In accordance with the South Carolina Lodging Act of 1994, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the days that coincide with any mandatory evacuation. No refund or adjustments will be made for inclement weather or for leaving under conditions other than a mandatory evacuation.
Cleaning and Linen Policy: Cleaning and linen is provided at departure only and is included in the rental fee. You are responsible for removing trash, and assuring that all dishes and utensils are clean and put away at departure. Linen is a one time supply. You are responsible for maintaining the linen during your stay. It should not be used at the beach or at the pool. Please bring beach and pool towels with you. Any excessive cleaning costs will be charged to the guest and/or deducted from the security deposit.
Condition of unit: Since each condominium is privately owned, the condition and furnishings of each may vary. While we will make every effort to be certain that the unit that you have rented is clean and in good condition upon arrival, we cannot guarantee your satisfaction. We will make every effort to complete reasonable repairs and corrections as soon as possible. No refunds or reimbursements will be authorized to unsatisfied guests nor will refunds be authorized in the event of air conditioning or appliance failure. Please notify us promptly of any problems.
Damages: Damages that are sustained during the rental period are the responsibility of the guest. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest and deducted from the security deposit. Furthermore, occupancy may be terminated at the discretion of the managing agent without refund of funds.
House Parties: House parties are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of occupancy with no refund.
Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted in the rental units. Sorry, there are no exceptions.
Telephones: this condo does NOT have a telephone. Please make appropriate arrangements.
Noise: Loud noises are disturbing at all times of the day and should be kept to a minimum, but especially between the hours of 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Furniture: These are privately owned condos. Please do not remove or relocate any furniture or furnishings.
Parking: Motorcycles, campers, trailers, RVs, boats and jet skis are not permitted at any of our rental properties. Maximum of (2) parking permits are provided with rental.
Maintenance: We reserve the right to access condominiums by authorized personnel in order to perform agreed upon maintenance, repairs and/or housekeeping.
Damage/Injury: The Agent and/or Owner shall not be liable for any damage or injury to any guest, any other person or to any property occurring on the premises or any part thereof, and guest agrees to hold Agent and /or Owner harmless for any claims of damage, no matter how caused. Agent and/or owner will not be responsible for acts of theft of vandalism or other damage to guests’ personal property.
Please review your paper-work, as it is also your receipt for the rent pre-payment we received. Please review it completely noting the day of arrival and departure.
Note: Although every precaution has been taken, errors in prices and/or description may occur and we reserve the right to correct such errors.
